Therapy for Big Feelers

You are someone who has always had BIG feelings. And yet, it feels like no matter how many times you try to communicate them to the people around, you go unheard, misunderstood or blamed for being too sensitive, too reactive, too much.

You might have a big group of friends. You might have a full agenda of meetings. You might have a warm family and a nice house and all of the things that society tells us makes happiness.

But when you are alone, you feel empty. Or angry. Or confused. Or lost.

You enter each day in complete cognitive dissonance. You want today to be the day something changes. You want to feel present, authentic, warm, engaging and connected. You also feel low, tired, burnout and like the future doesn’t hold any specific promise.

Even if everyone is saying what a bright future you have. Even if everyone is saying how many opportunities you’ve been given. Even if everyone is saying they’d kill to have what you have.

That just makes you feel more alone. Unheard. Hopeless.

You’re trying to keep up. You’re trying to keep moving. You’re not really sure who to talk to.

You might be a teenager and feel like looking towards adulthood is daunting. Cold. Overwhelming.

Or you might be an adult, feeling like not much has changed since those years. Wondering where the time went. Wondering what could have been.

I’m so glad you’re here.
